Total Raised for the Gemma Potts Community: £261
The Satley Speed Shear, organised by Mark Robson of Robson Animal Health, taking place on 27th July at 6 PM at West Shields Farm, DL13 4HN. This event is part of the Northern Speed Shear Circuit and will see shearers competing to be the fastest on the night.
While the event raises funds for the Sir Bobby Robson Cancer Foundation and the Sick Children’s Trust, the Gemma Potts Community has been kindly invited to participate and raise awareness and funds for Gemma.
Earlier this year, Mark Robson completed an incredible 101-mile walk from Siddick to Tynemouth in under 48 hours, raising over £5,000 for the Gemma Potts Community. Now, he hopes to continue his fundraising efforts during the Satley Speed Shear. Mark will be auctioning off GPC merchandise, including 2 hoodies, 2 bobble hats, and 2 caps, and will share some heartfelt words about Gemma and her journey.
Rebecca Bradley, from the Gemma Potts Community, will be the duty vet on the night and will have her GPC donation bucket ready for those who wish to contribute to Gemma’s cause.
The event is open to everyone, so please come along and enjoy an evening of sheep shearing and fundraising. Let’s support Mark and the Gemma Potts Community together!
